Red Lobster might be taking an old page from its playbook to win over consumers\u2019 hearts. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The seafood restaurant chain is reportedly considering the return of endless shrimp, the all-you-can-eat deal that was one of Red Lobster\u2019s most iconic promotions. <\/p>\n

Although the promotion dates back decades<\/a>, it was originally only offered for limited amounts of time\u2014that is, until previous owner Thai Group made it a permanent<\/a> menu fixture in June 2023.<\/p>\n

At $20 for bottomless shrimp, many argue the move contributed to the seafood chain\u2019s financial woes and its eventual Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May 2024. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to bankruptcy filings at the time, the year-round endless shrimp promotion had cost the company $11 million.<\/p>\n

The promotion was later dropped from the menu<\/a>, \u201cbecause I know how to do math,\u201d Red Lobster CEO Damola Adamolekun told Today<\/em> later that year.<\/p>\n

Now, almost two years into Adamolekun\u2019s crusade to achieve the \u201cGreatest comeback in the history of the restaurant industry,\u201d the promotion might be coming back after all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
