The beloved chain\u2019s closely-watched location tracker shows six new locations are on the way soon. But these locations won\u2019t see the hamburger chain break ground in new states.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"content-chunk\">\n<p>While the Irvine, California-based company has been steadily expanding east in recent years, the locations marked as \u201copening soon\u201d will only deepen its presence in six states: Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Tennessee. In-N-Out is opening a regional headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee and plans to relocate across the country from California by 2030.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But it has yet to make it to the Atlantic Coast\u2014and doesn\u2019t seem to have any plans to do so soon..<\/p>\n<p>During a July 2025 appearance on the <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=E8HnqAgtlcc\">Relatable podcast<\/a>, In-N-Out owner Lynsi Snyder teased that, like Tennessee, other locations may be possible in the future thanks to its Texas-based distribution center\u2014but squashed the hopes of fans in places like New York or Florida.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"content-chunk\">\n<p>\u201cFlorida has begged us, and we\u2019re still saying no,\u201d Snyder said at the time. \u201cThe East Coast states, we\u2019re still saying no.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Despite the chain\u2019s expansion, now with more than 400 locations, there\u2019s still a novelty factor as it currently operates restaurants in only 10 states.
