The stock has previously been volatile due to BlackBerry\u2019s place in the meme stock craze a few years ago.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian company, once a leader in the mobile phone industry, reported $156 million in revenue for quarter four, a 10% increase year-over-year (YOY). Its adjusted net income also rose by a whopping 92% YOY.<\/p>\n<p>On a year-long scale, BlackBerry saw its revenue reach $549.1 million, a 3% jump YOY.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"content-chunk\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-we-are-no-longer-a-company-in-transition\">\u201cWe are no longer a company in transition\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>The successful report follows a dedicated turnaround for BlackBerry focused on strengthening its cybersecurity and embedded software system divisions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince our leadership transition in 2023, we have been focused on a clear goal: to transform BlackBerry into a profitable growth company. Our performance this quarter and over the past year demonstrates that we are delivering,\u201d BlackBerry CEO John J. Giamatteo said in a release.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Giamatteo continued: \u201cWe are no longer a company in transition.
