The retailer has faced declining foot traffic and less demand for traditional office supplies.<\/p>\n Party City\u2019s challenges have been more severe. The chain filed for bankruptcy twice, first in January 2023 and again in December 2024, which led to the retailer announcing it would close all of its stores.<\/p>\n One of Staples\u2019 own employees has been doing her part to attract more attention to the retailer. Kaeden Rowland, a Staples print specialist who has earned the nickname \u201cStaples Baddie,\u201d went viral in early 2026 by posting videos showcasing the retailer\u2019s products and services on TikTok. Since then, the Staples Baddie has amassed nearly 600,000 TikTok followers.<\/p>\n Her content, which she films while on the clock, introduces viewers to lesser-known products and services at Staples. The company has embraced Rowland\u2019s success, regularly engaging with her content and collaborating with her through paid partnerships. Rowland was among the first to share news of the Party City partnership with her audience.<\/p>\nBoth brands have had to adapt<\/h2>\n
