It doesn’t look like Apple will offer multiple colors, with white currently appearing to be the only option,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n Black versions of Apple devices are de rigueur<\/em>, so to omit one for the initial folding iPhone would be a surprise. And it would also mean the foldable would be the first iPhone since 2007, when the original model was released, that was only available in one color. <\/p>\n As such, the rumor seems almost far-fetched. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n But Sonny Dickson\u2019s comments come just a couple of days after another leaker, Ice Universe<\/a>, showed an image on Weibo of the folding iPhone \u2014 and that image also showed the phone in a white hue and no others. <\/p>\n Another leaker, Instant Digital, claimed back in February that only one color was confirmed, as they put it, and that color was white. <\/p>\n Multiple leaks do not mean that a rumor becomes a certainty, though the additional authority that comes from additional reports from reliable sources add up to something. <\/p>\n I find it surprising that there\u2019s no black, or space gray, or similar-named version predicted.
