Keep an eye out for moose and trout-filled backcountry reservoirs.<\/p>\n<h2>Pearl Street Mall<\/h2>\n<p>Pearl Street Mall is the heartbeat of downtown Boulder, with a variety of outdoor gear shops, boutiques, and restaurants along both sides of the pedestrian-only thoroughfare. Hike a piece of the eight-mile Ute Trail for alpine terrain at its finest.<\/p>\n<h2>Fly-Fishing Boulder Creek<\/h2>\n<p>The Rockies are loaded with backcountry fly-fishing opportunities, but you don\u2019t have to leave town to cast a line. The ice-cold Boulder Creek runs through town, offering easy access and hundreds of pools that collect small brown trout.
