Its modern syndicated version launched in 1984, and 41 seasons later, it\u2019s still going strong, <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/tv\/news\/jeopardy-ratings-premiere-week-1236528639\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">garnering 7.5 million viewers for its latest season premiere<\/a> and maintaining its title as the most-watched syndicated series on TV.<\/p>\n<p>Though <em>Jeopardy!<\/em> made it through the cultural transition to streaming largely unscathed, its producers are still finding ways to innovate its format and bring the show to new platforms. That includes the newly announced <em>Jeopardy! YouTube Edition<\/em>, which will feature YouTube personalities playing for charity.<\/p>\n<p>The new show will premiere on Tuesday, March 31, at 9 p.m. ET, with a livestream on <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCnxxhf9PSA3VJ4Q80pWJoow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the <em>Jeopardy! <\/em>YouTube channel<\/a>, hosted by Ken Jennings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"content-chunk\">\n<p>What makes the <em>YouTube Edition<\/em> different from regular <em>Jeopardy!<\/em>? It will still use <em>Jeopardy!<\/em>\u2019s signature answer-with-a-question format, but with trivia categories inspired by YouTube, including viral trends and the platform\u2019s history. YouTube influencers and talent will also appear on the show to provide custom video clues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s greatest hits to DIY homebuilding, there is so much to learn on YouTube, but who has learned the most?\u201d Jennings teased in <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=afV-lRJfi2s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a promo for the series<\/a>. He also introduced the three \u201cinternet icons\u201d competing in the premiere episode.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s Brennan Lee Mulligan, the host of <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@dimension20show\/featured\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tabletop gaming series <em>Dimension 20<\/em><\/a>, which has 1.11 million YouTube subscribers; drag queen Mon\u00e9t X Change, a star of reality TV shows including <em>RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race<\/em> and <em>The Traitors<\/em> and <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@monetxchangeofficial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a YouTube creator with 180,000 subscribers<\/a>; and pop singer Rebecca Black, whose <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/kfVsfOSbJY0?si=Y2a1AM1IatyK57PK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">much-memed music video for 2011\u2019s \u201cFriday\u201d<\/a> boasts 179 million views on the platform.
