Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own. Key Takeaways Many compliance breakdowns stem less from the rule itself and more from how organizations respond internally. A more disciplined, repeatable approach can turn regulatory pressure into a catalyst for stronger operations. Leading in a highly regulated industry means building systems that can absorb new rules — without triggering regulator scrutiny or customer frustration. You can’t treat a new law as something to “get to later.” It has to be woven into how your team actually works, often on a fixed timeline with real consequences for delays.Over the past few years,…
I’m obsessive about my to-do lists. Everything I need to get done goes on my list so that I don’t lose sight of it. But as a solo business owner, I ran into a problem: When do I have the time to actually work through my list? Anything urgent, I’d work on. Anything nonurgent, well . . . Stuff that keeps a business running gets perpetually pushed to “later.” However, “later” can eventually cause problems—like your website is out of date, your files are a mess, or your inbox is chaos. You can’t ignore the small, boring, non-billable tasks, or…
Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own. When I stepped into a leadership role in Ho Chi Minh City at age 30, I had one year of marketing experience and a 12-month assignment in a market I barely understood. I was the first American in that office, and the cultural pressures were immediate. In those first 30 days, I didn’t try to dominate meetings or propose bold strategies. Instead, I focused on learning how the organization actually worked. That experience reshaped how I evaluate talent. High-potential employees rarely reveal themselves through early wins. They reveal themselves through patterns of behavior. If…
If you’ve ever cracked open an ice-cold Sprite on a hot summer day, or taken a sip of the soda fresh from a McDonald’s machine, you’ve probably experienced that eye-widening first moment that the extra-fizzy, citrusy beverage hits your tongue. That exact second is what Sprite is trying to capture with its new brand refresh, which includes the return of a beloved brand symbol, an updated logo, new visuals, and the brand’s first-ever signature sound. These updates are part of a broader campaign called “It’s That Fresh,” which Sprite says is designed to appeal to younger consumers by strengthening the…
Make sure you have a cold beverage at the ready because this episode of How Success Happens is fire. My guest was Jing Gao, founder and CEO of Fly By Jing, the spicy Chinese sauce and noodle brand that transformed the sleepy “international aisle” into the literally hottest spot in grocery stores nationwide. Jing was born in Chengdu in China’s Sichuan province and raised “around the world,” as she puts it. She originally followed a traditional business path, working in tech, before a move back to China pulled her toward food and her cultural roots. She studied with master chefs,…
Federal regulators on Thursday approved a new higher-dose version of the blockbuster obesity drug Wegovy that may help users lose more weight and keep it off. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved a 7.2-milligram dose of Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk’s semaglutide. Previously, the highest approved dose of the drug, taken as a weekly shot, was 2.4 milligrams. The new dose received accelerated review through the FDA’s ultra-fast drug review program. The approval was granted 54 days after the request for review was approved, the agency said in a statement. The new dosage will be available in April at pharmacies in the U.S., with…

Spring is a glorious, warm season after the harsh cold of winter—filled with light and more sun-induced vitamin D. Friday, March 20, 2026 (at exactly 10:46 a.m. ET), marks both its triumphant return in the Northern Hemisphere and the spring equinox. Get ready for longer days, warmer weather, and flower blooms that may cause sneezes. Let’s take a deeper look at the science behind seasons and what exactly an equinox is. What causes the seasons? The tilt of the Earth’s axis as it orbits around the sun causes seasons. Different parts of the world receive different amounts of sunlight depending…
Key Takeaways Kagi Translate has added “LinkedIn Speak” as a dedicated input and output language. The tool mocks LinkedIn’s corporate, influencer tone as something you can translate into, like any other language. Kagi Translate is a translation service that supports more than 248 languages and treats LinkedIn’s distinct tone as…
Gold and silver prices are plunging again. Silver is down 17% in the last five days, and gold has fallen more than 10%. Precious metals have been particularly volatile amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and broader market shifts. Gold fell to $4,691.70 per ounce on Thursday, while silver slipped to $70.68 per ounce. The current streak of days with consecutive losses is the longest for gold prices since 2024, Bloomberg reports. Just two weeks ago, gold hit a record high, and silver reached its own peak in February. Prices of the two are often linked; when gold prices…
