A new World Cup-themed promotion has made KEF’s remarkable XIO soundbar available in the U.K. with £200 cashback until July 2.

While World Cup football (or soccer, if you must) campaigns inevitably seem to end in disappointment for the U.K.’s constituent nations, premium audio brand KEF has revealed a plan to put a smile on U.K. football fans’ faces no matter what the results on the pitch may be by offering substantial cashback offers on its ultra-powerful and critically acclaimed XIO soundbar, as well as a selection of its also much-loved subwoofer speakers.

Running between now (May 14) and roughly the mid point of the tournament on July 2, KEF’s offer enables U.K. consumers who buy a XIO soundbar to claim up to £200 cashback on their purchase, while buyers of certain models from its range of standalone subwoofers will be able to claim up to £150 cashback.

Full details of the promotion, which you’ll be entitled to take advantage of if you buy a qualifying model in the stated time period from an authorised KEF dealer, the KEF Music Gallery in London, or online at uk.kef.com, are as follows:

    • £200 cashback on the XIO soundbar (equivalent to 10% of its full price)
    • £75 cashback on the KUBE 8 subwoofer (equivalent to 13% of its full price)
    • £100 cashback on the KUBE 10 subwoofer (equivalent to 13% of its full price)
    • £100 cashback on the KUBE 12 subwoofer (equivalent to 12% of its full price)
    • £150 cashback on the KC62 subwoofer (equivalent to 10% of its full price)

KEF’s World Cup cashback offer also includes some of its subwoofers, including the KC62 pictured here.

If you didn’t see the article I published about the KEF XIO when it launched in 2025, it’s a single-bar soundbar solution that justifies its premium £1,999 price point by delivering 5.1.2-channels of sound with remarkable amounts of power, dynamic range and detail. KEF’s Music Integrity Engine is on hand to ensure that the XIO is tuned for musical clarity and balance as well as film soundtracks, while KEF’s Velocity Control Technology actively monitors bass performance in real time to reduce distortions and deliver the low frequency sounds so key to a successful home cinema audio experience more tightly and cleanly. Even at the sort of high volumes home theater fans crave.

I’ve actually reviewed this soundbar for another outlet I work for, and confirm that it delivers on all the above and more.

Leading the lineup of subwoofers that qualify for the cashback offer is the KC62. This stylish and startlingly compact – football sized, actually, aptly enough – model features KEF’s proprietary Uni-Core technology, which in this instance features dual 6.5-inch back-to-back force-cancelling drivers combined with a single motor system to enable more extensive driver excursion. It also boasts a massive 1,000W RMS of power, provided by specially designed Class D amplification.

No similar sort of cashback deal has been announced yet for the U.S., but if that changes I’ll update this story accordingly and mention it on my social media channels.
