Is Clash in Italy a premier premium live event? I don’t know, but the card planned for Turin sure looks like it could compete with Day 1 or 2 from WrestleMania 42 and just about anything the promotion may have planned for SummerSlam.

After Monday’s episode of Raw in Columbus, Ohio, which opened with a explanatory pre-recorded promo from Brock Lesnar and in-ring mic work between Oba Femi and Paul Heyman, it is clear the CII event is a major one on the WWE calendar. Barring something highly unpredictable, the full card is now set, and it is serious.

    Key Facts at a Glance

    • Event: WWE Clash in Italy 2026 (first WWE PLE in Italy)
    • Date: Sunday, May 31, 2026
    • Venue: Inalpi Arena, Turin, Italy
    • Start time: 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT (kickoff around 12 p.m. ET)
    • How to watch: ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan (U.S.), Netflix internationally
    • Headliners: Two men’s world titles, two women’s titles, plus Brock Lesnar

What Is The Full WWE Clash In Italy Card?

Per WWE’s official listing, the card is built around five marquee matches:

WWE has announced that Femi vs. Lesnar, Reigns vs. Fatu and Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca will air during the first hour on ESPN, which positions Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther to close the show as the main event.

That running order is a statement in itself, giving streaming audiences the biggest crossover match and a title bout during the ESPN window.

What Are The Biggest Matches On The Card?

Rhodes vs. Gunther is the purist’s main event. WWE creative has built it as an ace-versus-general story, with Gunther’s disciplined, punishing style making Europe feel like his territory and Rhodes cast as the traveling champion defending in hostile ground.

While fans have had a ball booing Gunther since he retired John Cena in December, there is a contingent of WWE fans who wouldn’t mind seeing the Ring General dethrone Rhodes.

Cody has been nothing short of brilliant since he came back to WWE, but even the greatest can trigger top-of-the-mountain fatigue.

Reigns vs. Fatu carries the Bloodline weight. The Tribal Combat stipulation, traditionally a no-holds-barred brawl with the Tribal Chief mantle in play, expands that lore outside North America, with Fatu booked as the violent wildcard who attacked Reigns after Backlash to force the match.

I’m hoping for a significant twist that reignites the Bloodline story with another meaningful chapter.

Femi vs. Lesnar is the wildcard spectacle. WWE’s booking positions it as a torch test for Femi, following Lesnar’s recent return, and it gives the card a true fight-poster look even without a title attached.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see Lesnar win and the two titans settle this with the latter’s retirement match happening at SummerSlam.

Why Does Clash In Italy Matter?

This is WWE’s first premium live event ever in Italy, and the company has treated it as a genuine supercard rather than a soft test run. Two men’s world titles, two women’s championships and a returning Brock Lesnar is a stacked lineup for a debut market.

For me, it is all about Reigns-Fatu and Rhodes-Gunter. However, the women’s matches are the sleeper value. Ripley vs. Cargill escalates their WrestleMania 42 rematch, and Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca is the kind of veteran-versus-breakout booking that can overdeliver and steal post-show buzz.

If the top of the card lives up to the billing, perhaps Turin becomes a recurring stop rather than a one-off.
