WWE Night of Champions could flip the promotion’s title picture upside down. Back in the day, NOC used to be the event that forced every champion in the company to defend their belts. I missed those days, but nowadays, that’s not the framework. As it is, there will be championship matches and we’ll also find out who the King and Queen of the Ring are at this event. Let’s talk wrestling.

    Key Facts At A Glance

    • Event: WWE Night of Champions 2026 (12th overall)
    • Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026
    • Start time: 1 p.m. ET (approx. 8 p.m. local Riyadh)
    • Venue: Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
    • U.S. stream: ESPN app (ESPN Unlimited plan), plus traditional PPV
    • International: Netflix (most markets), SuperSport (Sub-Saharan Africa), Abema (Japan)
    • Headline stakes: King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring finals; both winners earn SummerSlam world title shots

When Is WWE Night Of Champions 2026?

For WWE fans in the United States, this will be another early start. I’m fine with it considering it’s a heavy combat sports weekend.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. takes on Mike Zambidis in Greece and Xander Zayas will defend his unified 154-pound title against Jaron “Boots” Ennis later that night. The early start lines my day up nicely.

Night of Champions runs Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, with Triple H confirming a 1 p.m. ET start, roughly 8 p.m. local. It is the second straight year the show emanates from Riyadh and WWE’s 15th Saudi event under the Vision 2030 partnership.

How Can You Watch WWE Night Of Champions 2026?

As is the case with all WWE premium live events (except Saturday and now Sunday Night’s Main Event), you can watch the entire show on ESPN.

In the United States, that means the ESPN app with an ESPN Unlimited plan, with traditional PPV also available. Internationally, the show streams on Netflix in most markets, with SuperSport carrying it in Sub-Saharan Africa and Abema in Japan. This is the first Night of Champions to run on ESPN’s service, a clear break from the Peacock-only era.

What’s On The WWE Night Of Champions 2026 Card?

The only two matches confirmed don’t have participants, but we know the King and Queen of the Ring will be crowned. Right now, it would be a shock to see anyone besides Oba Femi in the final for the men, although I fully expect Brock Lesnar to ruin The Ruler’s shot.

Liv Morgan might be on her way to double-champ status. After all, in the words of Real Housewife of Atlanta legend Nene Leakes, who gon’ check her, boo?

The brackets came together coming out of Clash in Italy, feeding the 25th King of the Ring and fourth Queen of the Ring tournaments. WWE’s booking of Femi’s dominant rise has positioned him as the clear favorite, and the rest of the lineup should fill in across Raw and SmackDown in the coming weeks.

What’s At Stake At WWE Night Of Champions 2026?

With the King and Queen of the Ring winners getting to call their championship shot at SummerSlam, the stakes are higher for these matches. In addition to that, there’s likely to be some sort of championship match between Gunther and Cody Rhodes at this show as well. It should be a memorable show considering what’s on the line and who will be in action.

Beyond the in-ring booking, the show doubles as a test of WWE’s new distribution model and another step in making the Riyadh events feel like essential stops rather than glorified house shows.

This show builds on what Crown Jewel established, this year’s Royal Rumble furthered and what next year’s WrestleMania will cement.

With two SummerSlam title shots and a likely marquee title match on the line, it carries real weight in the summer storyline calendar.
