The most-anticipated annual event of the trail running universe takes place August 24-30. Here’s how to tune in.

On August 24-30, 2026, the who’s who of ultrarunners from around the globe will descend upon the petite ski village of Chamonix, France, for Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, belovedly referred to as UTMB Mont-Blanc or just UTMB.
And by UTMB, we really mean UTMB, the 106-mile race that circumnavigates the Mont Blanc Massif, and the seven other races that take place during the UTMB World Series Finals week. Yes, it’s a little confusing, just smile and nod and keep reading.
Those running UTMB (like, the UTMB), will be competing for about $23,400 for the win (plus multiples more in sponsorship bonuses) and, more notably, eternal bragging rights on the sport’s biggest stage. Lucky for Americans (and her fans around the world), that crop includes three-time champ Courtney Dauwalter. Also lucky for Americans, the races (UTMB and the other premiere events during the week) will be broadcast live across the pond for free.
Catch the Action Live
What started as a stand-alone race (UTMB Mont-Blanc, aka UTMB) has transformed into a weeklong trail running circus filled with races with alphabet soup acronyms for names. There are eight total races (plus a handful of youth races) during the week from August 24-30, but the three races that make up the official UTMB World Series Finals—the OCC, CCC, and UTMB—will all be brought to you live via drones, bike and runner follow cams, and non-stop commentary.
UTMB World Series have teamed up with FloTrack to broadcast the UTMB World Series Finals in the United States. The live action will be available on FloTrack (starting with OCC) and UTMB Live.
The championship racing action starts on Thursday, August 27, with the OCC 50K as runners start from Orsières, Switzerland and race a variation of the final third of the loop to Chamonix. The action continues straight into Friday morning with the start of CCC 100K in Courmayeur, Italy, which sends runners along the final two-thirds of the loop to Chamonix. And it culminates with the crème de la crème, the full UTMB, which kicks off in downtown Chamonix that evening at 5:45 P.M. local time. The 106-mile race around Mont Blanc with roughly 32,800 feet of climbing and descending is a time-honored test piece for lifelong ultrarunners, up-and-coming rookies, and elite-level pros alike.
Brace yourself for fearless front-running, heartbreaking blowups, fierce rivalries, and, most importantly, awe-inspiring scenery.
