If you’ve been drone-curious but dissuaded by high prices, complicated operating systems, and licensing red tape, you’re going to love this new approach to aerial videography. The HOVERAir X1 PRO and PROMAX are “self-flying” cameras that deliver high-quality images and video with technology that’s both user-friendly and budget-friendly—no prior drone experience or pilot’s license required.

There’s a lot to love about the Pro and Pro Max, but the real game-changer is their tracking ability. The auto-follow function does exactly what the name implies: It literally tracks your movement and captures those high-quality shots without you having to lift a finger. And with tracking speeds up to 26 miles per hour and a maximum takeoff altitude of just over 18,000 feet, the X1 PRO and PROMAX can keep up with even the most high-speed, high-intensity escapades.

Think you’ll get lower image quality at the expense of user-friendliness? Think again. The X1 PRO boasts 12MP image resolution and crystal-clear 4K video resolution. The PROMAX goes even further with 48MP and 8K video resolution. Plus, both cameras are incredibly durable and portable, folding up into a neat little package that can even fit in your pocket, so you can feel confident bringing them along on your grittier adventures.

And no worries about getting the shots. Want a highlight reel of yourself ripping down singletrack? No problem. Want Warren Miller–style footage from above as you bomb a sweet line? You got it. When you select one of the 12 preset flight modes, you can capture any dynamic moment from any angle. Plus, built-in collision detection and level five wind resistance help to navigate adverse environments and weather conditions, so you can do your thing and forget about the rest.

HOVERAir’s mission is to create a camera that captures the fun of your experiences in the outdoors while allowing you to stay focused on the “fun part”—an adventure buddy to tag along wherever you may roam. Where will it follow you next?

HOVERAir is the world’s first self-flying camera. Designed for creators, athletes, and everyday adventurers, HOVERAir combines intelligent autonomous flight, portable design, and premium image quality to make capturing life effortless, dynamic, and hands-free.
